Hard to answer without knowing more..... but a quick check on the US Postal site shows that amount for a 2 pound package going Priority Mail International ( http://ircalc.usps.com/PopUps/PMI.htm ). Only cheaper option would have been First Class International at $24.15 (First Class = http://ircalc.usps.com/PopUps/FCMIParcel.htm )

You can always check this yourself by visiting the USP website and selecting "Calculate a Price" under the "Ship A Package" tab - http://postcalc.usps.com/

Hope that helps.

I just had two playart tankers (about convoy size) in boxes, sent to me for $25 USD. i thought that was steep, but i see higher on ebay, some ads list 45 bucks for a single car. fuck that. if i am spreading the cost over several cars, i can wear 25 bucks.

i guess it also depends on the scarcity, or relative value of what you are buying. if it was a scarce car worth several hundred dollars, then i'd like signed or international shipping with insurance and tracking and no, $45 doesn't seem too bad in that instance.

i keep a spreadsheet and list every car i buy, and that cost includes a percentage of the shipping charge.

all post depends on weight and sometimes size

friend sent 6 loose models to England, 13 oz, first class international, cheapest way to go. over $16.00 US to send.

your post price does seem way to high, even priority wise for two trucks

contact seller, but i'm sure it is not the actual cost, just what he is charging you.
