MIDNIGHT X-PRESS CONTAINER LABELS?

Postby TOYRFIC » Sun Jan 04, 2015 8:15 pm

Howdy! I have seen the Midnight X-Press container graphics tempa applied. The example below in the foreground has the graphics on a label.
Also, the text is towards the rear on both sides. I think it looks better this way, the stripes from the cab flow better to the stripes on the container.
The Kenworth cab has a "LESNEY-ENGLAND" base, not the "Matchbox Intl." cast. Is this label version common?

The Midnight X-Press model first came out with paper labels and then switched over to tampo printed around the time production moved to Macau. (That is one way to see if you have the right cab with the trailer.) While not common to see the paper labels reversed, it is a known "error" that you can find on some of the models made with labels. An other model is the CY04 Scania Ansett trailer.
