Alexander "Les" Vietch would be one of the Authorities on SkyBusters toys and has published a guide that he sells on his own.

He emails people whom have purchased his guide with updates about 5-6 times per year.

This is his email address (av011f5525@blueyonder.co.uk) to which you can write and ask him if he has any copies for sale. The guide is very comprehensive with pictures and accurate list of variants.

Les Veitch's comprehensive publication is a must have for anyone really interested in skybusters. It is highly detailed and well presented with loads of information. A lot of effort and hard work went into it. After the release of SB43 Cessna Citation jet around the year 2000, Mattel dropped the numbering system that was usually cast into the base of the models. This created a little bit of a mess especially when Mattel started placing numbers within the paint system. Mr. Veitch mentioned this in his publication and he continued giving numbers to new models as they were released. In the meantime Mattel re-started to number some of the models (not in sequence but rather haphazardly). I follow Mr. Veitch's numbering system and in his updates he included in parenthesis Mattel's number as well. I am listing the last 12 SBs as per Les Veitch's updates:

Veitch# Mattel's #
SB 98 (110) Rescue Blade
SB 99 (111) Air Blitz
SB 100 (114) Strato Saucer
SB 101 (117) Air Grabber
SB 102 (116) Strato Stormer
SB 103 (113) Fang Fighter
SB 104 (115) Dual Tail
SB 105 (118) Gee Bee
SB 106 (121) Sky Shredder
SB 107 (120) Sky Sentry
SB 108 (119) F15B Strike Eagle
SB 109 (124) Roto Warrior

Finally found the time to list a complete list of Skybuters based on Les Veitch's publication and updates.
A total of 119 different skybuster models are listed excluding the SB 12 Mission Helicopter which was a re-labeled model from the 1-75 range.
Hope this helps the collector out there.
