As was rumored. Confirmed at The Gathering this year--no new Ambassador.

Yes Jeff. I think the position has been made redundant and replaced by Facebook, Instagram etc.

Yes with Matchboxworld being online we are getting pics on a regular basis now. There are still a few things to figure out, but we will begin a new chapter in communications with the guys from Matchbox. Let's see how it works out.

That's why I came here since Instagram and Facebook are both banned in China. I've translated many Matchbox news into Chinese and bloged for my fellow collectors there. We still need a platform to ask the "officials" questions...

Sadly for you and the collectors in China, I think you would fall under the category like the rest of us outside the USA that just dont factor in to the decisions that Mattel make.
