Hello All. My name is Steve, I live in the suburbs of Chicago. My reason for joining I came across some of my old matchbox cars when I was a kid. Anyhow I want to try my hand at restoring some of them as they are rather beat up. The first piece I've started on the 10c foden sugar tanker. I have removed the axles and wheels and set them aside. I have stripped the body down to bare metal. Now just waiting for end piece which is missing and the decal or sticker. I guess my first question is what color blue matches or comes close to the blue that was originally used for this vehicle.

Thank you in advance

Steve

Have fun playing with your toys. Any dark navy blue will probably be close. If you have a airbrush you have more selection of colors. If not try the hardware or hobby store in the spray paint section.
