Toy Hall of Fame

Postby grahamh » Thu Oct 05, 2017 1:15 pm

You may have seen this already but there's an online poll going on to induct a new toy into the Toy Hall of Fame at the National Museum of Play in the US. Matchbox Cars are on the shortlist; it appears to be a straight fight with Pez, judging by the voting so far.

You can vote once per device per day until November 9th. Let's give it a go!

You can vote once per day from each device you have access to. And if you use Chrome you can double that by also voting from an incognito tab.

The Pez fans are mysteriously able to clock about 1500 votes overnight whenever the gap builds up. Clearly someone has figured out an even more dodgy way too game the system.

Bottom line is keep voting every day as many times as you can. We need to try to maintain a gap of at least a few thousand votes.

Clue, paper airplanes and wiffle ball are being inducted. Matchbox, which received 48% of the vote out of all 12 nominees is left out. WTF!

:) :D :P

Hotwheels and Tonka already in so why have Matchbox as well.

Not my way of thinking but with things like sticks and empty boxes being inducted it doesn't surprise me.
