Must admit quite fond of mil stuff,have been bidding on Ebay for the early Matchbox mil items,after a few but want them minty.

The closed Mcnair Barracks in Berlin no longer needed as the Cold War and Wall have gone.This place had a massive transport pool.And every 4th July the vets come back for a party.

Bud at a euro a bottle went down well and it was US bud,they brought there own.

The two guys who did the folding of the flag in the bottom pic were duty guards from the US Embassy in Berlin.

What I really wanted to show you was that there is a tiny museum (building in last pic) that contains a superb model of the transport pool with workshops and full of really nice military diecast models.(pic mislaid at present)
