German release Big box farm set

Postby bigtractormike » Tue Aug 12, 2014 3:59 pm

Picked this German release of the farm set up at the Gathering this past July.

there are three sets to my understanding :

small window box set ( in my collection )

medium set : ( do not have )

large big box set :

there are also two piece blisters with the same German only packaging .

each set has the same base models, but the bigger the set, more models / more accessories

have one of the two model blisters but no pics yet.

thanks, for looking,

I used to have these. I roughly remember i bought these in Belgium at the time.
I realy love the carry pack.
I have a similar packaging for the MY FIRST MATCHBOX range which can be seen here:

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3609

This is from 1991.
The same style of box was used for MOTORCITY (with 50 items inside) and CONNECTABLES (with 20 items inside) I roughly recall there is also such a pack for building construction vehicles.
The MY FIRST MATCHBOX box contains 30 items.

One of your packs (FM_130 sold on Canadian Ebay for 99 dollar) aprox one month ago

One of the My First Matchbox sold at 152.50 USD recenly.

It is amazing to see such high prices for early 90ties toys. I think they are quite hard to find.

A set you are missing is on Ebay currently (but expensive)

Graham Hamilton (Rocketon Toys) currently has these 3 for sale.

I roughly remember a 2 pack also.

Nice items, thanks for showing yours.

Hey Marcel,

I purchased the small set, or should I say MEDIUM set, as the one you show for sale on e-bay is smaller than my first set.

anyway, I picked it up from a seller on the MCCH a while ago for $50.00 USD, the larger set cost me $45.00 USD

the 65 euro for the small set is a bit much

I have the second 2 pc blister, the green tractor with the green cultivator , not sure what I paid for that, surely less than $5.00 USD.

I also have a HUGE boxed motor city construction set. will have to take some pics of it soon.

thanks, btm
